This piece is a part of my printmaking series "Lyrics: Image and Type." The series was made for my Lithography final where we had to make
a self initiated cohesive series of work with a constant theme. I chose lyrics from songs that meant something to me and emphasized the intonation
and feeling of the phrase through typography and Imagery.
The words from this piece came from the Blink-182 song "Feeling This" track. I used an aggressive condensed typeface to emphasize the intensity
of the song. The two different singers were represented by two different typefaces and stylings. The condensed white type was the vocalist that
was setting the environment of the situation. The bold white stroked type was the second singer, who would repeat the same phrase over and over.
It seemed like he was the subconsious telling the lead singer how to feel. I chose to keep the graphic stylings very subtle in the background
to not distract from the text, but also very sharp, complex and onimous.
